More Comments at Google MapShikura is a local Ramen spot serving absolutely DELICIOUS broth and great noodles. We dropped by after much biking and enjoyed the best ramen we've had between Tokyo and Kyoto so far. The broth is just right on its thickness and the flavor is just right. From the first taste we fell in love. Wish I got the large bowl. Highly recommend this spot.
Places like this deserve an extra 6th star to mean that they blew even your wildest expectations. It doesn't open until 6pm and seats a total of 12 people, oh, and you also place your order from a vending machine. To me, all of that was part of the incredible allure of the place. From about 5:45 theres a line of people and once it opens they'll have people standing behind your chair waiting to take it, so eat fast! However, don't let that deter you. It's like this because the staff wastes no energy on anything that isn't directly related to making Ramen, so you get a top-quality that I haven't seen elsewhere. They make one kind of Ramen - a pork based one and you either take it or leave it. The broth is so rich an delicious and the other ingredients are on par with that. You should go!
Delicious!!! I don't speak Japanese but the staff was kind and helped me out. Great place recommend
