Kyoto, Japan｜Taiho Ramen - Kiyamachi

Incredibly delicious ramen, best I had in 2 weeks of Japan. Very authentic, off the beaten path experience. Cut the pork in front of us, everything very fresh. Kimchi and gyoza also good but honestly just get the special pork ramen nothing else compares in the menu.

Don’t let the unassuming appearance fool you. This is an Authentic ramen bar. Don’t go anywhere else. Gyoza, Beef Ramen and karaage all amazing.

You know a place is good when it is crowded at 10pm on a Sunday night. The place is very unassuming and appears a little unclean or shabby, but the gyoza is top notch and the chashu ramen was one of the best ice ever had. The pork is made from black (Berkshire?) Pig.
