Kyoto, Japan｜Ramen Kiwami

Really an excellent restaurant, where all dishes taste delicious. We tried the chili ramen soup and the fried rice. The chef is really very friendly and attentive and we felt very comfortable. The only downside is that you can smoke in the place. Please keep it up, we will come back sometime and look forward to this one. Greetings from Germany from Simon and Nicolas

The place has great ramen but the side menu's is where this place shines. The ten piece karage bowl is fantastic with the amount of rice you get, the sauce and lastly the creamy egg on top. There is a small layer of moyashi gives it more texture as it has a lovely snap as you bite into it. You will spend more than you want because of how good the food is.

At the lower floor of our Air BnB apartment we couldn't walk past every day and not eat here and so glad we did. The friendly chef although limited with spoken English, provided an English menu with good choices. We each had a different broth in our Ramen and they were both amazing. We chose the package with a side and I can't recommend the chicken skin dumplings highly enough. They were delicious!! Serves were massive and two of us ate and one beer for under 2500yen. I'm not sure I'd make a special trip out of central Kyoto to try, but if you are in the area wander down the side street to find this little gem.
