The owner was very kind to two bewildered foreigners with only a little Japanese - pointing out good choices on the menu, explaining what the spices were, offering a fork when it looked like we were struggling with the chopsticks, reading the final price out digit by digit.

The food was delicious. The owner was kind. Not very expensive. It was fun to watch the food get made.

I chose the basic tonkotsu for 750 yen. The soup is pork bone broth paitan with a slight amount of salt and soy sauce, the noodles are loosely curly square noodles, and the ingredients are boiled fatty char siu, bean sprouts, and chopped green onions. Although it is light, it has a perfect balance of flavor, richness, aroma, fat, and saltiness, making it delicious. The noodles are a little cheap, but they go well together, and the ingredients are well-done. The free kimchi goes well with the beer, and it's delicious, and the chopped garlic and chili pepper chives for a different taste are also good. The hygiene in the store was normal, the corona measures were taken well, the price was good, and the owner who looked like a bear was polite and soft, and it was the opposite of what it looked like, and it was a gap moe. There are no negative aspects, so the overall rating is 5 stars.
