Osaka, Japan｜UROKO RAMEN

Hands down the best ramen we’ve had in Osaka this time, and we’ve tried more than 5 ramen places. The ramen place is right off the busy streets near Namba Parks. Really close to Centara Grand. We went there twice and there weren’t many people, but the ramen was top notch. The place is cash only and you have to order through a machine. The machine will return your cash really quickly if you can’t decide, so I recommend decide what to eat first then you insert the cash. The servers and the chefs were amazing, really attentive and friendly. Highly recommend the salt ramen, tasted better than the shoyu ramen.

The shio (salt) ramen was delicious. Don’t be confused with the name as it was actually a light tasting broth with just the right amount of seasoning. The noodles were chewy and bouncy. There is a yuzu pepper mixture you can add but be careful to not over-season the ramen.

I went there at someone's recommendation and man, it didn't disappoint. I've been to many ramen restaurants but this place had, hands down, the best noodles I've eaten yet! They're slightly thicker than most which I vastly preferred, and the salt ramen I ordered from their machine was so good not even 5 minutes passed before I was done with my bowl... I'll stop here because writing this is making me hungry for it and I'm not in Osaka anymore, damn it.
