Tsukemen shop just a short walk from Nagai Station Since the coronavirus outbreak, the restaurant has been on long vacations for several years, and I was worried because I didn't know when it would return, but recently it seems that they are often open for lunch even though they are closed irregularly. When the store opens at noon, there is usually a line outside, so it's easy to tell. Tsukemen prices start from 900 yen, and you can increase the amount of noodles up to 400g for free. There is only a counter inside the store, and the owner seems to be doing all the cooking, accounting, and cleaning by himself, so it was suitable for people who can wait comfortably. Lately, it seems like two people are opening the store together with other employees. I would be happy if the store opened more frequently. If you are trying it for the first time, I recommend the seafood tonkotsu tsukemen. The soup has a very strong flavor and goes well with the noodles, making it really delicious. In the photo, it looks like there aren't many toppings, but the soup contains menma and chashu from the beginning, making it more filling than it looks. The salt tsukemen was lighter than I expected, but the salt-based soup whetted my appetite and I found myself eating it all before I knew it. This restaurant mainly serves tsukemen, but abura soba is also a popular menu item. Rather than specifying grams, there are different prices from average to special size, and the special size (750 yen) is 350g, which is quite cheap. However, the taste is definitely more delicious than the price. I don't think you could open a restaurant with just abura soba. This is a little spicy, so be careful if you don't like spicy food.

The small store only has a counter and cannot accommodate more than 10 people. Therefore, there is definitely a waiting time, but the tsukemen is worth trying once! It's reasonable that the price doesn't change even if it's 400 grams, and it's cheap! You could feel the sweetness of the wheat in the noodles, and the noodles themselves were delicious. It was a feast!

It's a restaurant I've always wanted to go to, but it wasn't open very often, so I finally got around to eating there the other day. I had the noodles reduced from 200g to 150g. The shop owner said to me, "Even if you eat less, the price won't change! (LOL)", but it would be a waste to leave it, so it was just the right amount for me 🙆‍♀️ Although it was a one-off surgery and seemed to be busy, the owner was very nice. It was quite spicy even at 1 spiciness, but it was delicious. Thank you for your meal🙇‍♀️
