Osaka, Japan｜Shoyu-Ramen Sodaisho

A typical local famous ramen restaturant. You MUST be ready for 30 mins of waiting even though in very late time (10:00 PM). BUT this waiting time is full of value. I have travelled only for RAMEN in TOKYO and FUKUOKA, but this restaurant's 醬油 ramen is much more UMAIer than many shoyu ramen in Tokyo! This a little-bit-faraway-from Umeda ramen restaurant is the shoyu ramen Mecca of Osaka.

Waited an hour at dinner time to eat a bowl of shoyu ramen, and it was well worth it! The broth was very delicious and savoury, while the thick noodles were QQ and were infused with the broth. The char siew had a lot of fats in it to make it very yummy. The service was quick once we entered the restaurant.

Piping hot ramen at midnight just really hits the spot! The shoyu ramen broth is simple and delicious, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the chashu was great too. Best of all, the prices were very very affordable! Enjoyed the meal tremendously. Will definitely be back!
