Osaka, Japan｜Chommage-shokudo Ramen-bu

A lovely find after touring Osaka Castle. Shop was full of locals, which is always a good sign. The staff are lovely, very warm and friendly. They speak a little English, and there is also an English menu, which is helpful. The ramen soup base is a thick and flavourful chicken broth. We added the gyoza and karage, which were excellent. Highly recommend!!

No hype and cosy ramen place close to the Osaka Jo Castle. The owner & chef is a charming old man who has been operating here for the past 23 years.

We ordered the spicy miso ramen and it was wonderful. The soup was rich and the noodles was perfect. This is by far my favorite ramen place in Japan and the chef is very friendly. I suggest getting the large size! It’s that good ♥️
