Osaka, Japan｜Ishida-Ichiryu Osaka Tenma

Walked into this ramen restaurant searching for a late breakfast, and was attracted to the eye-catching yellow signage. The food ordering is through a cash based ticket system which takes some effort to understand, but is stickered with helpful translations and recommendations. It appeared to be a favourite for local construction workers, so the restaurant had a nice relaxed atmosphere. The tonkotsu ramen was perhaps the richest and creamiest broth I have tasted in Japan (notable that they offer lighter YATAI option for your preference) and the yuzu salt ramen was a very interesting and delicious mix of lighter/brighter tasting salt yuzu broth with a prevalent tonkotsu flavour also. The gyoza was wonderfully presented and also delicious. I highly recommend this ramen restaurant!

Had the yuzu salt ramen, unique flavor combining the yuzu skin and salt. The salt had a tinge of spiciness in it, it was great! The soup was light and tasty and it was my 1st time finishing the whole bowl of ramen soup! Recommended!

Had the yuzu salt ramen. Interesting flavour. Staff were also really pleasant.
