Nara, Japan｜Menya Eguchi

Arrived around 11:15 on Sunday, October 29, 2023. There were about 10 people waiting outside. The menu will be passed around while you are lining up. At 11:35, while waiting in line, I was guided into the store and, as I had researched in advance, I purchased ¥1,000 of Ajitama Chinese Soba and ¥100 of chashu cooked rice using a ticket machine. Enter the store at 11:50. 8 counter seats and 4 seater box seats. 4 clerks. The rice bowl arrived in about 8 minutes. Thin square noodles with dashi and soy sauce soup. Menma is normal, thin chashu has no presence. Green onions are placed on top with green onions and white onions cut separately. Boiled eggs have a lot of flavor. Takikomi rice is good value for money. All in all, they were delicious and highly satisfying. It looks like it's well made. The tsukemen looks delicious too. There are several parking spaces available, the inside of the store is very clean and tidy, and the staff provides good service. A store I would come back to again.

I went to ``Menya Eguchi'', a ramen restaurant in Nara that is rated as delicious👍 Since it was my first visit, I chose the standard Chinese noodles. Clear soup! This feels like old-fashioned Chinese noodles 👍 The soup had a great scent of stingray 😊 I don't often drink ramen soup all the way to the end, but this was a soup that I could drink all the way to the end 👍 It was very delicious😀

I went to the famous Eguchi restaurant after being told about it by a ramen enthusiast I know. First of all, I ordered the basic Chinese noodles and the optional chashu takikomi rice. The cooked rice arrived before the ramen bowl arrived, so I started eating it, but it was delicious and I finished it in no time. Since the size is small, I also ordered the black pork miso rice that I was interested in. I also finished eating this before the ramen. And the Chinese soba is served in a bowl. The soup has a great flavor but is refreshing, and the thin straight noodles are just like Chinese noodles. The staff were all very friendly and I had a pleasant meal. I think it's a famous store!
