Kusatsu, Shiga, Japan｜Yataizushi Kusatsuekinishiguchicho

If you ever drop by Kusatsu and is looking for a decent Izakaya place, this will be one of the place to be! The price is great and they have happy hour (half price). There's not a massive lot of selection but I personally love their fried lotus root and tempura cuttlefish. The sushi isn't premium but neither is the price so not complaining. Normal dinner time will be packed so if you have a big group either get here early or later at night.

It was open until 1pm and I had a great time. The grilled hokke was thick and delicious. The sushi is also good! The staff's response was friendly and made me feel comfortable.

The comfort level is that of an izakaya, so it depends on the (noisy) guests around you.
