A rare kushikatsu restaurant run by a former sushi restaurant. Founded 60 years ago, Kushikatsu started 20 years ago. The second-generation owner is a quiet and nice-looking old man. Now that you mention it, the inside of the store certainly looks like a sushi restaurant. I agree with the long-established sour storefront. The sauce is also not the Nishinari style that is drizzled, but is particular about salt, homemade sauce, and homemade mayonnaise. It was my first time to use mayonnaise for kushikatsu, but this fits. Half of the menu is 110 yen per stick, the same price as Nishinari. I ordered an assortment of 8 pieces for 1100 yen. The sea bream shiso roll in the first photo was delicious. As expected of a former sushi restaurant, the sea bream is fluffy. All of them are cheap and delicious, and there are repeats.

You can enjoy crunchy battered kushikatsu. 8 omakase is a great deal. There is also a dessert menu such as camembert with raspberry sauce and banana skewers with ice cream.

I didn't like kushikatsu that much, but I love this place. The batter is thin and easy to eat, so even children who don't like deep-fried food eat it! It may be difficult for Ichigen to enter the store because there are many regulars, but I don't mind. lol Especially because there is a tatami room, it is surprisingly easy to go with children.
