Fantastic Izakaya in the Juso District serving a range of delicious dishes and sake. A wonderful warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and willing to help us with the menu as we don't speak Japanese. Looks like a place the locals enjoy too. Ask for sake and they bring out a whole range for you try. Seems no two people get the same. We were lucky enough to be offered a 10 year old to try - delicious. Highly recommended.

This place is a real local gem. Very little English here and no English menu, but if you're language skills are up to it you're in for a treat. After I muddled through with my very average Japanese, the chef even came out of the restaurant when we were leaving to chat a bit more and see us off. Super friendly, great food (the tuna belly was amazing!) and would definitely recommend if you've got some Japanese skills.

It was my first visit with my senior. I was very satisfied with Ochazuke, starting with an elegant Otoshi. I wanted to come again because it was difficult to eat everything on the first time because all the menus looked delicious. Thank you for the meal.
