I returned to Y38 after 3 years away living in Aichi and the owner remembered me! Excellent, friendly service. Most of all the seared bonito (katsuo tataki) here is the best I have ever had anywhere in Japan. I highly recommend this place for good food and a great night out.

An outstanding izakaya! The master, staff and customers were extremely friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much for a great night and I can’t wait to return.

All of them are delicious, but I like the seared bonito! Locals told me that it was delicious, so I visited several times. The general always greets me cheerfully.
