Osaka, Japan｜Manmanki

So so so good. The atmosphere and food and drinks were amazing! The skewers were so juicy and flavorful. The owner is so nice and is English speaking. There is an English menu available. The place is also enjoyed by Japanese locals. It was nice to escape the touristy packed restaurants and just enjoy some beer and skewers.

Definitely the best i have tried in osaka. Cozy little izakaya with Very friendly english-fluent speaking owner Best kushikatu! You should try the homemade tabasco-Worcestershire sauce. Great yakitori, i tried the chicken & leek, and the so called best chain yakitori restaurant can’t even compare. The hamburg is next level. You should definitely get it He also made his own sake from sweet potato, worth a try Definitely on my #1 list in osaka

We ordered chicken liver sashimi, grilled shrimp, 5 skewers of chefs choice, grilled chicken with ponzu sauce, grilled chicken gizzard and grilled liver. Highly recommend 5 skewer of chefs choice, grilled chicken gizzard and grilled chicken heart. It’s tender, incredibly delicious and cooked just right to our taste. Goes perfectly with a beer or plum wine by the way. Owner is also really hospitable, spoke English to us, gave us fried chicken gizzards to start the meal (highly recommend getting that as well) and kept all of us entertained the entire time. Will definitely come back, it’s an incredible way to start an Osaka stay!
