Osaka, Japan｜Teppanjinja honten

🍖 🥩 👨‍🍳 Great izakaya with perfectly seasoned meats and veggies! Boneless shortribs, duck + green onion, & steak were the consensus favorites. Yummy yakisoba too! Nice ambiance, just make sure to lock your shoes in the locker at the front.

We were looking for a restaurant that looked less like a tourist trap as so many in this neighborhood. Apart from a menu board outside there was no restaurant visible. Curious though we went in a small gang and after the elevator was this little gem hidden. Small entrance door leads to a cozy restaurant that was separated from the kitchen by a glass wall. We ordered teppan style prepared skewers, a salad, salmon sashimi and steak. We didn't regret coming here! Everything was so tasteful. But the star of the meal was the steak. That was so tender and full of flavour, simply excellent. We'll definitely come back before we leave Osaka.

Amazing yakitori/izakaya. Must go there staff is super nice and food is delicious.
