Tondabayashi, Osaka, Japan｜Kiraku Tondabayashi

Osaka Udon Kiraku is located along the outer ring of Tondabayashi City. Kiraku is the same affiliated store of Tonkatsu no Katsuki. Kiraku started as a restaurant in 1972. This store opened in May 2018. There was a different restaurant in front of Kiraku. Free parking available. When the parking lot is full, there is a second parking lot just beyond the shop. First visit for lunch this time. The interior of the store is stylish and calm, like Katsuki Honten. There is also a sense of luxury, so I think it's an ant to come on a meal date. Curry udon seems to be excellent, so this time I ordered a curry udon set meal, rice and pickles, and an increase in udon (1210 yen including tax). The set meal is free of extra udon. *Soba and nabeyaki udon cannot be increased. A large serving of rice is 132 yen including tax. Change to quick rice for 110 yen including tax. The food was served quickly. First of all, I was surprised by how big the bowl of udon was. The hot curry udon was filled with beef, deep-fried noodles, green onions, and onions, and the noodles were chewy and delicious. Curry udon soup, this goes well with white rice! It was a cold day, but my body was warmed up and my stomach was full. An elderly mother asked for a set meal and was very satisfied with the delicious soup stock. There are other dishes such as katsudon and tendon, so I would like to try them. The store clerk was also polite to customers, so it was a very good shop. It is convenient because you can use PayPay etc. Thank you for the delicious meal 😋

I went on Sunday around 1:30pm and waited 68 minutes. However, we were actually able to be seated after 2pm. Tendon is available everywhere, but I love Tentojidon, so when I saw Tentojidon, I ordered it without hesitation. It comes with mini udon noodles, but even the mini udon noodles are enough to satisfy you. The udon noodles were chewy and the soup stock was delicious.

I had a fried chicken set meal for lunch. The cold udon noodles in the set were cold to the core, and the fried chicken was piping hot, voluminous, and delicious. I have no complaints, but I would be so happy if "Odamakimushi" was on the menu. This is Osaka's local cuisine. I think “Osaka Udon” is the perfect name for the restaurant.
