Kobe, Hyogo, Japan｜Mokkosu (Ishiyagawa shop)

Been visiting this ramen shop for over 10 years, its still one of my favourites. Love the free condiments they offered here, sliced fried garlic, garlic paste, chilli chives, and pickled raddish. The soup taste on the lighter side so my go to is add chives and garlic paste and slices into the soup.

One of the very first bowls of ramen I ate 25 years ago when I landed in Kobe. Still delicious today. Love the fresh green onions and the friendly service. Until 3pm, you can pay an additional ¥150 and get a bowl of rice and a plate of gyoza. The whole ramen set cost ¥1,000.

Whenever I drop by, it's always crowded and be welcomed by heartwarming staff. It goes without saying that their ramen noodles is brilliant. Don't miss them. ;-)
