Osaka, Japan｜Mugen Ramen

I happen to live nearby. I ate cold noodles and my friend seemed to eat tonkotsu ramen. The tonkotsu noodles are more delicious and the cold noodles are also good and economical.

Excellent ramen, broth was thick and flavourful, I chose a bit more al dente cooked ramen noodles, extremely nice. The thinly cut meat and torched-chashu was fantastic. All for JPY 1,200. Extreme value for money. Short walk within 10 mins from Namba Station. Luckily, I stayed at a hotel right across from this place, and visited it many times during my week here.

Very creamy, great and rich toppings, goes exceptionally well with black pepper. Best ramen I’ve had all week. Edit: went for a second time. Make sure to choose the sea bream salt instead of the soy sauce version.
