Osaka, Japan｜Nudoruya ME-CHA-KU-CHA

This ramen was life-changing. My friend and I talked through every meal we had in Japan except this one. This one, as soon as we sat down, the owner/chef started his magic. It was an experience just getting to watch him MAKE the stuff. When it sat in front of us, we just looked at each other in wonder, then dug in. This ramen was, in short, an order of magnitude better than any ramen I've had before or since. It was in an entirely different league. And I say that as someone who's had his fair amount of ramen. Incredible. I'll be making a return trip to Osaka just for this experience again.

You should definitely come here. The staff (the only guy in the kitchen during lunch time) can't speak a single word in English. But for what? He speaks the universe language of Ramen, doing one of the best I've ever had. You'll not regret.

Wooowee. Must go spot for all the ramen heads out there. Definitely something different and special here. Have tried everything on menu and you can't go wrong. Highly recommend!
