This was my first time visiting Menya Rin. The store was listed as opening at 11 a.m., but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it opened half an hour later. I arrived before the store opened, and as I waited in front of the store, the staff politely thanked me and handed me a menu. Before the store opened, the clerk politely came to ask me about it, so I ordered a char siu bowl with salted bonito tsukemen topped with chicken char siu and a boiled egg. The store is deep but a little small with only 7 seats at the counter, but both the staff and the owner are friendly and considerate. The soup has a strong salty broth, but when combined with the flat noodles topped with bonito flakes, it tastes just right. The slightly larger cubes of pork and menma are submerged in the soup, giving it a nice crunch, but the salty broth is soaked through. It was delicious. At the end, I had it mixed with soup, and the saltiness was so good that I drank it all. The char siu bowl also had a large char siu topped with shredded seaweed, but it didn't have a lot of patchiness. But the chashu was delicious. Next is kelp water tsukemen. I stopped by for the first time in a while. During the Kyoto Wheat Harvest Festival, I immediately ordered the limited edition olive sardine, dried sardines, soy sauce, gagome kelp water tsukemen, Tamba Kogen pork limited char siu topping, and rare char siu TKG. The soy sauce-based dipping sauce was delicious as always, and the Kyoto wheat noodles coated with gagome kelp water and the limited edition chashu were also delicious. Even if you add salt to the noodles, they become especially delicious and satisfying. The rare char siu TKG was also good, and I ate it with the sauce, egg, char siu, and green onions mixed with the rice. It was delicious. As usual, the owner's friendliness is evident.

Just 5 minutes walk from Ishibashi-Hakadai-mae Station. A ramen shop located near the Hankyu Bus Iguchido garage. This is a popular restaurant where there is a line of about 3 people even if you arrive after lunch time. While waiting in line, I was given a menu and ordered. I would like the seasonal "chilled raw soy sauce ramen". I entered the store after waiting for about 15 minutes. There are only counter seats inside the store. Suitable for one person or a small group. It is separated from the neighbor by an acrylic board, perfect for coronavirus prevention. The chilled raw soy sauce ramen looks delicious with careful presentation. The soup is golden in color and has a nice kelp flavor, probably because it uses kelp water, and is cold and refreshing. Not only raw soy sauce but also a hint of fish sauce. Is the flavor oil based on bonito flakes? A very delicious soup with a hint of seafood. The noodles are chewy and springy, and the high water content makes them refreshing. Toppings include chicken ham, pork shoulder roast, menma tips, daikon radish, and green onions. All the toppings have a flavor that goes well with the ramen. The large pork shoulder roast is cut into pieces and is easy to eat. It's been a long time since I've had such delicious cold ramen.

There is a colored paper signed by the author of GANTZ. When I come here, I always order the soy sauce ramen with an extra piece of rare chashu. The rare char siu here is as thick as pork steak (?). The noodles are homemade flat noodles, so a large serving is free. This is a really filling ramen shop. The staff also has great customer service, which makes me feel good.I recommend you to follow them as they post limited edition ramen etc. on Instagram, Twitter, etc.
