I think the food was great, especially the sirloin one (the one with more fat), cause the meat is tender. One thing I would complain about however is the meat portion, a bit too little for my liking (and if compares to the picture). But was the taste good and was the portion enough for me? Yes absolutely, but not sure if it would be enough for others. Anyways, nice garden as well.

Happened to stumble across this restaurant while walking around and saw a couple walking out of the restaurant, asked them how the food was and they highly recommended trying it. Decided to give it a shot on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. The ambiance in the restaurant is so calm and soothing which is very nice to walk into after being in overcrowded tourist sites. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, customer service was amazing. The steak I ate here was cooked to perfection, it was so smooth and buttery - literally melted in my mouth. The boiling tofu was something new to me and it was absolutely delicious. You will eat a very high quality meal at this restaurant, prices reflect quality. Definitely not a cheap meal in Japan but not overpriced either. We ended up getting the most expensive steak on the menu and it paid off - the marbling was beautiful and it was the juiciest steak I had on my trip. We went during an slow time so there was no wait and not too many people in the restaurant as well.

This was absolutely delicious! Beautiful garden backdrop and a lovely ambience. Recommend to book as it can get busy. The meat was phenomenal and side dishes worked very well. Can try different styles of beef. Highly, highly recommend to dine here! Especially if your visiting the bamboo forest.
