Wan Chai, Hong Kong｜Golden Bauhinia Sang Kee

Superb restaurant tucked at the far end of HKCEC with floor to ceiling windows with a lot of natural light and well spaced tables for conversation. Every dish we tried was very tasty, each had its own unique flavour, even the fairly common vegetarian rolls (vegetarian goose in Chinese) had a smoked flavour, making it to stand out from other run of the mill restaurants. Price was reasonable for the location and quality, service was attentive. The restaurant is a little away from other restaurants nearer to exhibition halls but worth the effort to get there. It is also right next to the new Harbour promenade, about 30min walk to Central to help to digest the food and with superb view of Hong Kong cityscape along the walk.

Staffs were really nice and helpful. Made a reservation in advance and they gave us a window seat. Food was pretty good, price was reasonable. Not very crowded at lunchtime on saturday.

Second time here and think it's one of the better Cantonese restaurants. Great BBQ meats, dim sum is nice and service was fast. Price rather reasonable for this fancy of a place.
