Cheung Sha Wan, Hong Kong｜Kwan Kee Bamboo Noodle

One of the few traditional Jook-Sing Noodles shops. Personally think it is better than Lau Sum Kee. You could really taste the difference. Super al-dente but not a rubber-like chewy texture. Portion is super generous the noodles are piled up. Ordered the lo mein with dumpling and braised beef brisket. 5 dumplings is quite a lot when you order two toppings. Taste of dumplings are rather normal though. Beef brisket is super tender and flavourful. $60 for this portion and taste is super worth it.

Absolutely delicious traditionally made noodles. Broth was amazing and the noodles were perfectly tough for me. The beef brisket was equally outstanding. Unlike many other places in Hong Kong the staff were nice and polite, which is a really nice change from the typical blunt and impatient service you get. Highly recommended!
