I was totally taken by surprise by this boutique shop that serves Taiwanese sweet taro soups. The consistency of the taro is just right - not too hard or soft. It’s my idea of comfortable food for all times. The shop’s tiny but clean. The location’s a bit off but I enjoyed the tranquility, which is a rare quality in this city. The staff are friendly. The portion of the soup is very generous.

An awesome dessert shop (specializing in Taiwanese dessert delicacies) located in an obscure street. The taro balls were neatly handmade by two dedicated chefs. Not only the food was artistically presented, the taro balls were tenderly chewy and lightly sweetened. The sesame seed paste dumplings were equally impressive. Highly recommended!
