while the shop name is Dessert Hero but they do have many other type of food. But I came for the food it really doesnt disappoint me. The quality is good and not expensive. A typical shop frequent by local. The ingredient is fresh and they are not stingy on the ingredient too.

I went there at 7pm to avoid the famous long queue. Very close to MTR Austin station Exit A then walk up the tunnel towards Man Wui St. 1. Fried noodle with ham & veggie 雄哥炒麵 Not bad! 2. Rice rolls with XO sauce XO醬炒腸粉 VERY generous amount of XO sauce which gave the dish a very punchy taste. The texture of the rice rolls was great and prepared perfectly. 3. Taro Tapioca 芋頭西米露 There's a typo on the menu page 6. Taro Tapioca was translated to Coconut Tapioca. Around 5 pieces of reasonable size taro. Tapioca was well cooked. The whole dessert was very silky.

This shop sells hot finger food and traditional desserts (hot and cold). The decorations and variety of desserts are very different from those trendy dessert shops. The food was good especially the traditional hot desserts. Could feel the staff served with their hearts, providing very good service.
