Hong Kong｜Hong Kong Old Restaurant (Central)

This restaurant has a really charming and lively atmosphere. We loved all the dishes, especially the braised pork belly with preserved vegetable, the fresh water shrimps, and the walnut and eggs. English menu available. The entrance is easy to miss, it says the restaurant is on G/F but it's actually just a small entry with stairs leading down to the basement.

Awesome service and awesome food. The elderly waiter is outstanding. Personalised service. Highly recommended.

The real deal! Authentic Shanghai restaurant. There are many wannabe shanghai restaurants in HK, but this is the one for good old fashion shanghai dishes. Price is a bit on the high end, but it reflects the quality of ingredients and execution; not to mention the Central location. Service was attentive. Will definitely come back again if in the area.
