Kennedy Town, Hong Kong｜Sheung Hei

Simple and yum! I love it here and during brunch time weekdays are no line. There is an English menu as well, it is a kinda clear description but no photos. One portion of Dim Sum here is so big, so I need to bring some back home. The taste is just great with good texture, flavorful seasoning, and great ingredients. if it is a shrimp, you will feel the whole shrimp. My recommendation is a roasted pork in a pie and chicken feet. I think they are outstanding for me. The price wise is reasonable.

A former Michelin guide restaurant and it does live up to its name. On a Saturday evening crowds gather at its door for tables. We took our ticket and then headed on over to the promenade nearby to take mid autumn pictures, came back 45 minutes later and that was when we were luckily seated. Their clay pot rice is excellent with lots of crunchy rice crisps at the bottom. The spareribs was juicy and eel pieces fresh. Our steamed eggplant with vermicelli was very good as well. Sweet and sour fish is not so common in Hong Kong and they made it wonderful. I think their dim sum quality is also Michelin grade. All in all, wonderful food and would come back.

Was recommended this by my friend from HK, and was blown away. Went around 4pm so there wasn’t a queue. Ordered 黄金糕，小笼包 and the lap cheong claypot rice - so good! Highly recommend getting the golden cake and claypot rice, I believe it truly lives up to the michelin star hype as it is so crispy and yummy. Average about ~$15 per person. One of my favourite meals in HK for sure.
