Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong｜Hometown Dumpling

The best dumpling in town I think. It’s not pretentious. Just neighbourhood joint setting. The dumplings are just perfect. They serve it so well with the chilli and sauces. The only issue is the don’t serve beers or alcohols. Would like to have some beer with the spicy chicken. Worth a visit for sure. Price is super good deal too.

Came here specifically for the Chow Mein and wasn't disappointed. Very soft and tasty beef, and well cooked noodles. Couldn't finish it, so it's a good portion size for $62HK. Recommended.

My favourite Northern Chinese food in Hong Kong. I came here multiple times a week for the Shandong noodle soup with lamb, the best dish on the menu (one of my favourite meals in HK). Also recommend the lamb dumplings and homemade soy milk (try the homemade chilli oil too). Very generous portions also. If you come at a quiet time you can watch the owners make the dumplings by hand. You can tell everything is made with love and care. If you are in Kennedy Town please support this local business and the wonderful elderly couple who run the place, it’s worth every dollar! Very cute cats there too :)
