Sheung Wan, Hong Kong｜Ka Ho Restaurant

Ka Ho is an old-school, authentic and super local Cantonese seafood restaurant. I was almost discouraged by the relatively low rating, but looking inside the restaurant at all the locals enjoying their meals here it’s clear that they are doing something right, but these are probably not the kind of folks that are leaving reviews on google. Staff don’t speak English, so could be a bit difficult if you don’t speak some Mandarin or Cantonese, but I’m sure it’s possible to get by and they are friendly and want to help. Seafood is really fresh and delicious and reasonably priced. We had garlic razor clams and abalone, broccoli topped with shrimp, a whole streamed grouper fish and a pot of jasmine tea for HKD$475, quite a good value. You can pick your seafood live and they’ll cook it up. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys delicious and fresh Cantonese seafood at a reasonable price.

Great place for long hours of hotpot and drinks. Newly added chickenpot isn't that good but I'm sure they'll improve later on. Generous portions given as well. Definitely worth your money. 🤗

Very traditional taste. Although environment but old deco. But yummy , staff friendly, also good price .
