Central, Hong Kong｜Jiang Nan by Crystal Jade - ifc

A spin off of the Crystal Jade chain, this place serves up familiar favorites. The food items here are similar, but not entirely the same to the items offered at Crystal Jade. Food is varied and offers up simple noodle dishes to more elaborate main courses. We ordered the dinner set for two persons and we were able to sample a good portion of the meal. Food comes out relatively quickly and is both hot and fresh. The taste was well above your average Shanghainese restaurant and the price reflects that. We were seated at the bar table, but while some people may stray away from these kinds of seats, I love them personally as we were able to watch the noodle master make noodles right in front of us throughout the night.

We were wondering around IFC tower in hong Kong as one of the dim sum places was packed to the brim. Incidentally Jiang Nan had seating for 2. So we proceeded. Atmosphere. It was an absolute delight for me . I loved how lively the whole place was. Buzzing with people and energy. Lighting was very conducive too. Service. It's crystal jade. Nuff said. Food. The dishes were extremely generous. Fried rice was flavorful. Pork belly side dish was interesting. Note on the Xiao long BAO. Do stick to the regular stuff if you're not into fusion food. Special shout-out to the soy milk. I just couldn't get enough. Do drop by when you're near Central in Hong Kong!

I missed eating here at Crystal Jade IFC, especially the Hon Po Pork, and Xiao Long Bao. Still one of the best eats in Hong Kong. A must try.
