Jordan, Hong Kong｜Dim Dim Sum Jordan

We came around 11.30 and there was no wait but the restaurant filled up almost immediately after we got seated! Dimdimsum is still as good as I remeber (from my last visit 6 years ago) although it’s a little pricier than other dim sum places. Here’s what we got: - eggplant with seafood paste: this was something new and we really liked it!! The whole thing was deep fried and the eggplant innards were all soft and mushy hehe - crispy shrimp chee cheong fun: my absolute favourite!! There’s a strange harmony to the alternating soft outer rice roll, crispy second layer and the third layer of tender shrimp pieces with well cooked diced carrots and celery. - lotus leaf rice: very generous with the ingredients, came with a salted egg yolk and lup cheong ! - liu sha bao: it was alright. Too much bun to filling ratio. The custard was more on the sweet side. - char siew bao: a classic char siew bao. - Xiao long bao: I liked this but my sister didn’t! It’s HUGE and very flavorful and imho is on par with that of DTF!!

A cozy place with a welcoming atmosphere. They offer a variety of dim sum dishes. The food was authentic, nicely presented and lived up to our expectations. The Xiaolong Bao didn’t quite hit the mark but the other dishes made up for this minor setback and were very enjoyable. Overall, it was a pleasant experience for me.

Good service. Standard for HK. Not in your face, straight to the point. Food is lovely. Delicious dim sum. The restaurant has been in a Michelin guide. Definitely worth a visit for great food and prices.
