Tai Kok Tsui, Hong Kong｜Panda Wonton

Was gonna meet a customer at Olympic City but got there early. Passed by Hoi Fu and noticed this cute little Panda Wonton, which is a fast food chain specializing in bite size wonton. We ordered two cold appetizers, black fungus and cucumber which were $20 each. The black fungus was mixed with chopped garlic and vinegar. The cucumber was topped with coriander, sesame, peanuts, pine nuts and preserved radish, and dressed with sesame sauce. Refreshing starters. Wonton comes in 5 choices. You may choose from 6 kinds of soup and add other toppings. We shared cabbage wonton in spicy soup and Chinese chives wonton in seaweed soup. Even this is a fast food eatery, the wontons are cooked upon order to maintain quality. The size of the wonton is perfect for ladies to eat in one bite. The wontons we had were silky and slippery. The pork was finely minced and marinated. I added lots of preserved radish to eat with, love the crunchy texture and not over-salted taste! The preserved radish was so yum that I bought one jar home!

Cheap dining but good food! Love the mini wonton and the warm spicy soup that warm ones up in the cold seasons!
