Yau Ma Tei, Hong Kong｜大家食 (油麻地店)

Noodle comes with a drink. 6 tables, can share seats. Generous portion of ingredients. Had late lunch after 2, not so crowded.

Many people were fighting for the freedom of Hong Kong at the Victoria Park in heavy rain and I was going to join them after having some food. I ordered the noodles and a drink but I foundout that I had forgotten to bring my purse with me. The restaurant was cash only but I can only pay by Octopus. There was a gentleman helped me to pay my bill and didn't ask for anything but goodwill. I love this city more than ever.

Sometimes I eat breakfast there. The price is pretty good, but the drinks are good and don’t come with the meal.
