Excellent food. Roast goose, chicken seasoned with sweet soy sauce and barbecue pork set a very high benchmark for other restaurants serving the same stuff. Other dishes are up to a very high level too. What I like best is that the range of prices caters for people with any budget. As a lover of Hong Kong cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant and this place is one of the very best things I miss about Hong Kong. 香港燒味典範❗

This is by far the best meal we have in Hong Kong. They are famous for their roast goose (lychee wood chargrilled goose in Xinhui Gujing Style, and supposedly got 1st place in Hong Kong/ 新會古井燒鵝,獲評為全港第一. The roast goose was so nice. Crispy skin with juicy and tender meat. HKD155 for a top quarter (上庄). Lettuce asparagus/萵筍 was something new for us, but it was quite tasty. Crispy Skinned Chicken/南乳吊烧鸡 was very good too. The tofu was the worse dish, because it's vegetarian, no oyster sauce, no garlic used. Tasted very blend. Very busy restaurant so booking would be encouraged. We didn't book a table, but were lucky we got 1 after about 10mins wait.

Fantastic traditional cantonese food with great service. Chaa siu(barbecued pork) has a sweet crispy crust while the inner is tender and nice. Don’t forget to eat with the honey beans aside. Great match. The fried shrimp is very fresh and ice. Perfect seasoning. The third one i tried i guess it was fried tofu. It is incredible. Must try. And the roasted goose is real real real good. Will definitely take my friends with me again. Highly recommended.
