a very local restaurant where people drinks lot of beer and freely chat (or yell!) with very reasonable price! we were here in a group (before the dinner dine-in ban) and we enjoyed so much with the atmosphere and the food. the chiu-chow style goose and squid were very nice, there are quite a lot of choices of the chiu-chow food menu and could be mix-and-match; we also ordered the red hot spicy frog but i think it wasn't as good as the si-chun restaurant for sure. the fried lotus-root cake was nice too as well as the deep fried salt & pepper squid. they're both great to go with beer! the bottled beer here was very cheap, only $2x for a big bottle, crazy us i think we drank more then 30 in a night (omg!) nonetheless the fried beef rice noodle is a must in such kind of shop! we had a great night here to shout and eat care-free! miss the time when we can all take off our masks and enjoy in a big group.
