Tsim Sha Tsui East, Hong Kong｜Shikigiku Japanese Restaurant

Located inside the Royal Garden Hotel, this Japanese restaurant serves up a few different types of Japanese cuisine, from Sashimi to Tempura. We came in to enjoy the tempura set and we were not disappointed. Albeit the pricing at the time was 1780.00 HKD per person, it's still worth it if you're seated at the tempura bar. The variety and the number of pieces was plentiful and you could taste the freshness of each ingredient, despite most of them being fried. The stars of the show were the lobster, abalone, sea urchin and the mini peppers. Definitely a splurge, but will be worth it if it's a special occasion.

Amazing omakase. Came back the next day for tempura. Was also incredible. Make sure to ask for their watermelon jelly dessert. Best sushi/sashimi I've ever had!

Mainly came for celebrating mum's birthday. The dishes were good, the service was excellent. We ordered sashimi assortments, teppanyaki~scallop, lamb, vegetables, fried rice with sea urchin, cod, pork, etc. Mum was happy. Not too many people tonight. But I would recommend reservation is required in case you would like to sit at the teppanyaki table, sashimi table or tempura table. They have another tables to sit independently, not close to those tables.
