To Kwa Wan, Hong Kong｜永香冰室

The Wing Heung Cafe has been open since 1959. By the old photos, the interior has not changed, so a lot of history there. I always order the French Toast with hot or cold milk tea. This style is my favorite and up there with the nicest I have tasted in HK. The condensed milk with dollop of butter on top makes this a very tasty treat. Because it is an older premises does not mean it is unhygienic. I've never had an issue. Lovely owners, always have a chat with them. No problem taking photos. Put this on your list of things to do in HK, such a wonderful step back in time.

The boss is very kind and the food tastes good. The store has a history of almost 60 years, and you can see old ceiling fans and old electric switches. Apart from a lot of sundries, the place is quite comfortable.

Pretty much the core archetype of a Hong Kong cafe. Cheap, cheerful, and calorific. The French toast is particularly sweet. Rustic, cosy, and relaxed.
