Taikoo Shing, Hong Kong｜Butao (Cityplaza)

Tried the black ramen and it was awesome! Broth was flavourful and rich but not too salty. Pretty generous serving of the pork belly slices and perfectly cooked soft center egg (Ajitsuke Tamago) - best complement for a bowl of ramen. A little on the pricey side but worth the visit for ramen lovers.

Definitely one of the best BBQ pork amount the ramen shops of Hong Kong. We ordered both “belly” pork and “shoulder pork”. Shoulder pork surely is a winner ❤️, very tender and flavourful. Temperature and thickness of soup bases are prefect, texture of noodle are cooked exactly to requested. Only the the temperature of “black ears” are a bit on the cold side, which cooled down the soup quite significantly. Surely the best ramen place in Hong Kong island, for the taste and value.

Tried their Butao Ramen with lots of spring onions. Super nice !
