[Feast For All The Senses] With back-to-back meetings, busy schedules, it’s good to take a break and treat your senses! Nothing stirs the appetite more than an entertaining with theatrical culinary flair on an open grill. Sit around the teppanyaki station and see how the food is being cooked right before your eyes, it’s definitely a real treat for all the senses. Located in Kwun Tong Industrial area, GodofTeppanyaki 板神 is one of the few teppanyaki restaurant in the area. The lunch menu here is pretty straightforward, it’s a set tasting menu but you do get to pick which grilled meat you want as your main dish. Teppanyaki 2-person Set (HK$1080) Appetiser/Seasonal Fresh Salad 👍👍👍👍 We started with a refreshing lobster salad with mentaiko, which was simple but spot on. Sashimi 5 kinds 👍👍👍👍👍 An artfully plated seasonal sashimi 5 kinds. All the components were extremely fresh and beautifully presented. Cod Fish 👍👍👍👍👍 The flesh of the cod fish was soft, tender and flaky, while the fish skin was robustly crunchy, you can see how crispy and wafer thin it was. Teppanyaki Abalone 👍👍👍👍👍 The abalone was fresh and simply cooked on the sizzling teppan grill, seasoned with the perfect flavour partners - a pinch of salt and pepper is good enough to bring out the freshness of the seashells. Teppan Live Lobster 👍👍👍👍👍 The lobster was still alive when it placed on the teppan, I can see the lobster legs still twitching for quite some time 😲! The lobster meat was tender and juicy, blended the tomalley and lobster jus, making the most sublime sauce for the dish. US Sliced Beef 👍👍👍👍👍 The sliced beef was slightly seared and rolled it with scallions and deep fried garlic. Every bite was amazing, especially with all that crunchy garlic inside. Soup 👍👍👍👍 After a long course of grilled items, it was nice to have a hearty lobster miso soup. Fried Rice 👍👍👍👍👍 This fried rice was packed with flavour, garlicky and eggy! Seasonal Vegetable 👍👍👍👍 A simple but lovely assortment of seasonal vegetables and mushrooms. It was a harmonious of subtle yet balanced flavours. Dessert 👍👍👍👍 Wrapped up the meal with the milk pudding with red bean. A perfect finish to a perfect meal.

In Kwun Tong, I usually go to some industrial buildings to get food. This time I went to a ground floor restaurant in the industrial building area to eat Teppanyaki! The restaurant has separate rooms to greet guests, and in each room there will be a Teppanyaki chef who cooks the food to order in front of the guests. Because there are many guests, we have to be in the same room with other guests... We ordered a meal for two, Very rich =p There will be hot towels to clean your hands before eating. The appetizers and seasonal salads include pickled radish, red onions and pickled burdock. Afterwards, the waiter will bring the ingredients we ordered. The lobster is huge! Also on the front are foie gras and cod with some homemade sauce I was so busy watching the chef preparing the meat and sauce for the lobster that I forgot to take pictures! Lobster has a lot of meat too! And sure enough, the fresh lobster meat is very firm and refreshing, with a lot of bite! Served with the secret sauce, it has a little burnt saltiness and a bit of lobster paste, very delicious! It tastes like extra strong lobster soup! Grilled cod I looked at the silver cod being grilled in front of me, but when I ate it, it tasted so delicious! The chef carefully deboned the fish fillet and seared it with butter, so it has a buttery aroma and is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! The surface is crispy and the meat is very fresh and sweet when you eat it. There is really a sweetness coming out! Personally I think it’s worth 101 points! ! Roast foie gras The foie gras is very fragrant and eaten with toasted bread. The bread neutralizes the greasiness of the foie gras, and the toasted bread is crispy and easy to eat. The foie gras melts in the mouth without leaking at all! Grilled mixed vegetables Grilled mixed vegetables include asparagus, red pepper and shiitake mushrooms, beautifully presented. A5 Miyazaki Wagyu thinly grilled The chef first sautees a large amount of onions and garlic slices until fragrant, then puts them in the middle of the wagyu beef and rolls it up... The chef will ask the customer how ripe he wants the wagyu beef to be. Since we don't know much about wagyu beef, we ask the chef to decide. He said that this time the wagyu beef is cooked. A little bit would taste better, so we left it to him. The bread this time was only used to absorb the oil on the surface of the wagyu beef. The wagyu beef that was not eaten melted in your mouth as soon as you bit it, and the beef flavor came out! Eat it with garlic slices and green onions, very delicious! For the first time, I thought that the onion and garlic slices were actually the same as the wagyu beef! ! The first bite of Wagyu beef really made me feel happy! ! After that, the chef told us to try the next piece of Wagyu beef if it was cooked a little rarer. Sure enough, it tasted better if it was cooked a little bit more than a little bit raw! It turns out that Wagyu beef doesn’t have to be raw to be more delicious! Lobster Head Noodle Soup The master said that the lobster heads should not be wasted, so he helped us use the lobster heads to make soybean soup. The soybean soup is richer than ordinary soybean soup and has a bit of lobster soup feel. Wagyu fried rice. In fact, I was already a little full after eating the first few, and finally there was Wagyu fried rice. Watching the master fry the rice until every grain of it jumped, I knew that the fried rice should be very wok-like! Sure enough, the wagyu fried rice lived up to expectations, was delicious and very dry, and the color was very bright to attract appetite. Dessert... caramel toast with red bean ice cream The caramel toast is not on the menu, it is specially made by the master... Watching the master burn the incense with butter, and then sprinkle a large amount of sugar on the toast... It feels very evil... Just eating the toast is already very delicious! Eat it with ice cream and it will feel like ice and fire! Although this meal is a bit expensive, both the service and the visual and taste enjoyment can be satisfied! So it’s worth the price!

Nice and decent decorated restaurant, like boutique upscale restaurants in local Japan.
