Excellent Food and Cake Shop bakes Chinese pastries such as wife cakes, preserved egg cakes, light cakes, banana cakes, horse cakes, etc. in Sai Wan. I ordered their famous pumpkin pancakes and peanut glutinous rice cakes. Cheap and very delicious. Like 👍. Walked along SYP and saw long queue at this small Chinese bakery shop. Decided to give it a try. Found out that they are 40 years old bakery shop. Their traditional Chinese cakes and snacks are excellent. Since most old bakery had discontinued, many items there are precious and difficult to find somewhere else. All old Chinese are familiar with these bakery food in the good old days. If you would like bring a little surprise to your loved elderly, it simply works.

26.01.2019: one of the best traditional pastries shop in HK, a small gem to the SYP neighborhood, they have been here for more than 20 years and kept the same style and taste ever, i am glad they didn’t have to transform to contemporary style or got kick out by landlord in exchange of chain store coz of the mtr effect.. they are selling CNY products and must try the “fried red bean dumpling” which only cooked few days before CNY once a year, it tastes so good that nobody can be copycat about it..
