More Comments at Google MapPreviously, I only ate takeout from this Taiwanese bento restaurant, but this time I was finally able to sit down and enjoy it with my wife. First, I ordered a snack called Huazhi Balls ($20): The Huazhi Balls are hot and delicious after deep-fried, and with a little bit of sauce, they are pretty good. For the main course, I ordered braised beef balls, beef root noodles ($64) and braised pork rice bento ($55). The beef soup of braised beef balls and beef root noodles is so rich that I really want to drink a clear bowl of soup. The noodles are filled with beef broth, which is really good. The portions of beef root and beef balls are very good. Beef root is refreshing and has great taste. As for braised pork rice, I found that the quality of several restaurants is very good and average. The braised pork cubes are still delicious, the vermicelli is completely absorbed by the marinated juice, the corn kernels are sweet, and the three slightly spicy vegetables are added together to make rice. The rich taste is in your mouth, it's great. We ordered a cup of Taro Soy Milk Taro Balls ($24) and a Taro Ball Black Tea Latte ($22). I prefer the small taro balls made with taro and soy milk. The taro melts in the soy milk. The small taro balls are smokey and chewy, making them good to drink and eat.
Pretty good value if you are looking to have a relatively big meal. It will cost around 60-80hkd for a belly-filling mea set (it’s quite cheap if you are seeking for a “above average” meal).
Food quality is good, fresh and tasty. And the price is acceptable is this location. Just go earlier to secure a seat if you want to dine in.
