More Comments at Google MapThe food was exceptional, the quality was better than average. For this price, really well deserved. Highly recommend the mussels in white wine sauce, the sauce is flavorful but not salty very well balanced and the mussels were cooked perfectly (hard to find perfectly cooked mussels in Hong Kong). Had the Foie Gras, again cooked perfectly that the center is slightly pinkish, but personally I prefer to have a slight crunchy crust on the outside. The roast suckling pig, the skin was crispy like Chinese suckling pigs but the meat was so tender and soft it just melts in your mouth (also recommend to try). The duck confit was also very tender but personality would like the skin more crispy too. Overall all their food the flavors are so well balanced, the taste was so comforting throughout. And definitely don't miss their dessert! We were only able to stomach the creme brulee, it was such a creamy custard/pudding texture and the aroma from the vanilla beans was divine. Even though they are situated in a cooked food center, their service is attentive on par to what you get in 5 start hotel restaurants. The price as a cooked food center isn't cheap but comparing to other western restaurants serving this quality in Central/Sheung Wan definitely a deal. It's always packed so recommend booking a table (if you can dial through) or come later in the evening on a weekday to test your luck if any table has finished their meal.
Great food and service. Reasonable pricing . Pavlova was a decent surprise
ABC is famous not only about the food, but it’s location: how can you imagine you could find such a good western Restaurant inside a government food stall complex? And yes, they serve pretty good courses. I like their mains the most. Their dessert choices are pretty good as well, like the soufflé we have is made from raspberry, which is a bit different from outside but turns out it’s something you cannot miss. And they pair with good wines too. Of course you can BYO. It a place you want to feel the local energy but with cozy well served three course meal.
