Definitely worth the wait! Amazing egg waffles and located in a beautiful area in North Point! Plenty of things to do around the area once you pick up your waffle! 🫡

I think one must try food in Hong Kong is a breakfast sandwich. Ham and egg sandwich. Yes a sandwich. But it's nothing like cold & dry western style ones. Two layers of warm soft & fluffy crust less bread holding a piece of Hong Kong style ham and warm scrambled eggs with just the right level of gooey egg yolk. Combined together it's the right level of saltiness. If you like more sodium then do luncheon meat instead.

Lee Keung Kee is one of the most famous spots in the city to try the local HK style egg waffles. This is their hole-in-the-wall style shop just off King's Road in North Point. Opening hours are near all day and you will see people constantly walking up to their small window to order egg waffles (now HK$23 each). The egg-waffles (also called egg puffs) are served in a curve shape of bubbles (or puffs) which are light, crispy and a tad bit sweet. You can break them off and snack on them while walking the streets of North Point. Have to admit the egg waffles served here are pretty good, especially if you eat them as soon as they are served while still warm. Note: Lee Keung Kee has a second branch in TST along Nathan Road near the corner of Austin Road so you can try them there if spending time in that area of the city.
