Wan Chai, Hong Kong｜Trusty Congee King

I'm not a fan of congee because I few I up eating it to the point where I normally can't stand it so for me to eat and enjoy a bowl only means that the congee is exceptional and yes, Trusty Congee King is indeed exceptional having been on the Michelin guide for 13 straight years! I recommend the sliced fish with meatballs congee and adding a splash of red vinegar into your bowl

The foods were great and delicious. However, the service are not as quick as it should be; may be I visited during the pdim time like dinner. Overall, I do recommended this restaurant

I went here specifically for the menu, and I was not disappointed. I had the pork liver and scallop congee and my partner had the pork and preserved egg. Be sure to get "the combination" which adds the fried bread sticks. The porridge was thick and tasty. You could come here and just get a bowl of that without any protein. The pork loin was amazingly tender and creamy. They did forget to de-vain it, but I can forgive them given how great it tastes. This is definitely on my restaurant rotation for future trips through Hong Kong.
