More Comments at Google MapVery delicious! Would recommend you give this place a go. They have many stores around Hong Kong. We ordered a set which came with 2x egg noodles soup with prawn wontons, 1x pork and prawn wontons and 1x Chinese brocolli in oyster sauce. We added on 2x hot soy milk. Everything was fantastic, it was great to watch the chef prepare the food.
Cheap & cheerful! What more can one ask for? Get the signature wonton ($56 for a large bowl) and load it up with spring onion and ginger ($15 extra).
When a bowl of seemingly simple wonton noodles executed perfectly, you know the process to make that bowl isn't simple at all. Mak's been around for a long time and they are renowned for their noodles. The noodles are cooked to perfection, the golden clear broth is so fragrant yet delicate that drinking the whole bowl will make you wanting even more. The wontons are fairly small compared to others, but each with a whole prawn that when you bite into it, it was crunchy and juicy. For around 60 HKD ($8USD, £6, $12AUD) for a bowl is quite a bargain. And if you find standard portion is not enough, you have the option of extra noodles for just a few HKD.
