Kwai Fong, Hong Kong｜孖寶車仔麵

i've heard this shop a lot! finally made my way to kwai fong and try it. it's around dinner hour so the shop was extremely busy. there's a long queue for getting take away. i was lucky to get a seat after a few minutes (it's always easier to get seat for 1 person). i was not quite sure what to get to be honest. just sat down, grab a paper and tick the noodles. dumplings, pork, and to add satay sauce. the satay sauce must be its signature - saw many people having it. the noodles came quickly. the satay sauce was good, but to mix with the soup i think i need more. dumplings were big and full. quickly i finished the noodle bowl and was very satisfied. people also order the sui mai and cooked raddish, think i should try it next time. a quick, good and easy one!

This is a local restaurant selling original Hong Kong street food. We ordered steamed rice rolls with extra sesame sauce and a bowl of dry noodle with two side dishes. As you can see, the staff was very generous. They gave us ocean-like amount of sesame sauce LOL The dry noodle tasted good too. The price is very lovely and absolutely affordable. Only around HK$60 for the whole meal. Nice food and staff, will come again!

Getting street food from shop is much indulgent . 😋 Imitation shark’s fin soup, it’s surprisingly good that not even necessary to have dash of vinegar, don’t forget to top up with their signature cuttlefish balls (or stripes) . 😂 delighted to discover that they offer Cheung Fun as one of their noodle options. The smooth and silky texture of the Cheung Fun was a pleasant surprise, and the Siu Mai topping was a great addition. However, I realized that ordering it as a snack instead of a noodle set would be a better deal for next time . 😋 love their Swiss sauce as it’s real sweet but bff dun agree 🤣 . 😋crunchy squid is the best topping from the noodle 🍜 rest is so-so . ☕️ another surprise goes to the hot lemon tea, love the strong flavour and it’s much richer than iced one . 💰HK$131 •
