Best HK style restaurant both on the cuisines and serving style. The boss madam always seems fierce, unfriendly and cursing people. But she actually has a kind heart. She is a excellent model of demonstrating HK living style. Impatient with idiot customers, can’t stop talking sometimes but that is lovely and warm like home with mother she is. The cuisines of Lotus is the best you can find in Happy Valley, maybe even on Hong Kong Island. Congee is so smooth and tender. Their Claypot rice is one of a kind. They serve only huge pot rice enough for 3-5 person. To make it right, you need to reserve for the rice in advance so the rice is just cook when you arrive. Everything is served in full and good materials and in excellent quality. Yet the price is neighbourhood friendly.

Good service, reasonable price, quite nice food too. After meal, just go to Zenxes Foot retreat nearby and enjoy food and body treatment. Very professional and modern. Here I can meet many foreign residents who relax themselves in Zenxes too. Super!
