Wan Chai, Hong Kong｜Asiania Restaurant

We head to where the locals go, and here it is. Good quality, using fresh ingredients, the traditional Hong Kong dim sum served here is excellent and legit. Wide variety of classic dishes to choose from. No fusion or new world ideas, just tasty hot dim sum that warms the heart. Special shout out on the Fried egg pastry drizzled with honey, excellent dessert which we can’t get at home.

An old authentic restaurant which has moved/downsized from nearby, not terribly busy for friday lunch which was surprising/sign of the times?(covid restrictions, less tourists and ppl eating at home). Food is really good overall, not many pics taken as the food was wolfed down. All very tasty and at a reasonable price. Thr place is in a basement location so easily missed, can be accessed via the side streetboff Hennessey Road and the escalator takes you down, or go through the main entrance for the office and theres an opening on the right (opposite the lifts) where you can go to the downstairs arcade.

Food is excellent here! Traditional Cantonese dishes with terrific cooking skills 😋
