North Point, Hong Kong｜Tai Ping Kitchen

Excellent slow-cooked goose w/ star anise, fois gras, & ginger-sauce chicken! A very lucky surprise as we were late for the ferry & wondering around North Point. The style here is a little different from most HK goose shops -- very savory & lots of star anise deliciousness. And their fois gras was incredibly tasty.

we were here for dinner before the new dine-in ban, however the shop was quiet, only a few customers were here. we ordered some chui-chow food like the goose, tofu and squid, all were good! they're great to go with beer for sure. then we also had the fried clams and more deep fried food, some snacks to go with beer anyway for a tired evening. all were nice, cooked immediately and came quickly, never let our beer to turn warm LOL! the staff were very friendly too, we chatted together and had some great conversation! so just wondered why there wasn't many people? happy to come back soon or perhaps to get take away if passed by!

Great milk tea and great pricing for lunch set. Looking forward to try the lamb stew next time!
